celebratin’

Went out to dinner with my family last night to celebrate moving onto MS2. I’m so blessed to have such a supportive family. They’re always in my corner, cheering me on and praying for my success.

My cousin got this hilarious and incredibly delicious ice cream cake from BR. It was super yummy!

This is me being a weak sauce and not being able to cut through the ice cream. For my outfit, I was wearing this full length floral kimono. It’s a really great way to dress up any outfit and easily makes any outfit more modest. It’s also great for the summer because it’s a really light and airy material.

I wore my new jumpsuit from Loft that I ordered during their super sale a few weeks ago. It’s super comfortable and the color is actually more gray than blue. I wore this maroon belt to pull the outfit together and also break up the solid color of the jumpsuit.

Hubby and cousin makin’ a guest appearance to my #fromwhereistand shot. For shoes I wore my Vince Camuto sandals to dress the outfit up a bit more.

And here is a photo of me and my biggest supporter, counselor, cheer leader, photographer and best friend. I’m so blessed to be married to this wonderful man. Of course we have our bad days and we fight like any other couple, but he’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I was definitely worried to be entering my first year of med school and first year of marriage at the same time but at the end of the day, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I have several posts in the works but one of them will be on work/life balance so look out for that.

Hope you’re all having a great week!
