father’s day outfit

I hope you all had a wonderful Father’s Day with the father figures in your lives! And to those of you who weren’t able to celebrate with your fathers, for whatever reason, so many prayers and good vibes your way.

For my first outfit post I thought I’d stick with the two things I think about when choosing an outfit: modesty and comfort.

And of course it’s impossible to take a photo without giggling when hubby is taking the photos.

Is there anything more versatile than a light denim shirt? I think I’ve worn this top over every maxi dress and long skirt I own. I picked it up at a thrift store a couple years ago. I honestly should pick up another one. There may or may not be holes where my elbows belong…
One of my favorite ways to style outfits is picking one article of clothing with a bold pattern and pairing it with other solids. I got this dress last summer to wear on our mini honeymoon in San Diego after our wedding. I love that the material is really light and airy but isn’t see through so I don’t have to wear leggings underneath. Wanted to keep things simple so for details I just had a gold necklace with a tiny heart pendant, my watch and engagement ring/wedding band.

Hope you all have a lovely week!
